Your Legacy: An Imprint On Those Your Serve

How do you want to be remembered by those you are serving? You may not have given it much thought, but with each act of leadership, with every service encounter, you are leaving your imprint on the being of the person you are serving.  Your acts of service are literally carved into their being! And the more emotional (heart-centered) your action is, the deeper it is carved! How would you like to imprint the lives of others?

I am certain that you can think of many people who have positively impacted your life. People who have helped you through a rough time, encouraged you to excel and be your best, opened your eyes to a new possibility, provided a caring smile or a healing touch. Thinking of someone like that right now? Why not send them a thank you note or better yet – give them a call and let them know how much they mean to you. Your being has been imprinted with their heart-centered actions.  I challenge you in this moment, to access how they have impacted you, and to contact them to express it. (They may not have realized the difference they made for you.)

When we commit to creating Experiences of WOW! for others, we are committing to showing up everyday in such a way that we leave a heart-centered, life-enriching imprint on the lives of those we encounter. And that means that as they live their lives and face challenging moments, your legacy – which lives in their being – can be accessed as a caring memory and in that moment serve them again!

Your legacy lives right now in the lives of others. Today, make a commitment to yourself to show up powerfully, lovingly, compassionately, and attentively to those you serve. Be a Living WOW! that imprints the best of who you are on the world!
