What we Believe

Our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and reflect the historic Christian faith. The following statements summarize the core doctrines that guide our teaching, worship, and ministry.

The Bible

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is God’s revelation to humanity and the supreme authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)

We believe there is one true God who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are distinct yet one in essence and nature.

(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

The One True God

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and is now seated at the right hand of God.

(Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 7:26; Acts 1:9–11)

We believe that humanity was created good but fell into sin through disobedience. As a result, all people are separated from God and are in need of salvation.

(Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23)

The Fall of Humanity

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience following salvation, empowering believers for Christian living and effective witness.

(Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4)

We believe salvation is a gift of God received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, believers receive forgiveness of sins and new life.

(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10)

Salvation Through Jesus Christ

The Ordinances of the Church

We observe two ordinances commanded by Christ:

Water Baptism – A public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ by immersion in water.

(Matthew 28:19)

Holy Communion – A remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice through the bread and the cup.

(1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

We believe sanctification is a lifelong process through which believers grow in holiness and become more like Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit.

(Romans 12:1–2; Hebrews 12:14)

Sanctification

The Church and Its Mission

The Church is the body of Christ and consists of all believers. Its mission is to worship God, build up believers, and proclaim the gospel to the world.

(Matthew 28:19–20; Ephesians 4:11–13)

God calls and equips believers for ministry to serve the church and reach the world with the message of Jesus Christ.

(Ephesians 4:11–12)

Ministry

Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is provided through the redemptive work of Christ and is available through prayer and faith.

(Isaiah 53:5; James 5:14–16)

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ for His Church, often referred to as the rapture, which is the blessed hope of all believers.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Titus 2:13)

The Blessed Hope

The Millennial Reign of Christ

We believe that Christ will return to earth and reign for a thousand years, bringing peace and justice to the world.

(Revelation 20:1–6)

We believe there will be a final judgment, where they will be eternal separation.

(Revelation 20:11–15)

The Final Judgment

The New Heavens and the New Earth

We believe God will create a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness will dwell and where believers will live eternally with Him.

(Revelation 21:1–4)
